Corporate Council on Africa convenes high-level dialogues on the sidelines of the following key high-level meetings:
- World Bank/IMF spring meetings in Washington
- United Nations General Assembly in New York
- African Union Summit in Addis Ababa
These dialogues provide a platform for high-level African and U.S. private sector executives to share insights with African heads of state, ministers, senior USG officials, representatives of multilateral institutions and other stakeholders. Senior government officials and multilateral stakeholders engage directly with executives from leading U.S. and African businesses to highlight new business initiatives, trade policies, and investment opportunities.
In addition to providing a platform for a high-level public-private sector engagement, these dialogues increase opportunities for business partnerships, and showcase businesses and countries that are working to create an enabling environment for enhanced U.S.-Africa trade and investment.
