Jude Mutah

Director, Member Relations

Jude Mutah is an experienced U.S.–Africa affairs, international development, and stakeholder engagement professional with a strong background in governance, peace building, and cross-sector collaboration. Over the past decade, he has supported high-level engagements and partnerships across government, civil society, academia, and the private sector, helping organizations translate stakeholder priorities into practical strategies, build durable relationships, and deliver clear, executive-ready reporting. His professional experience includes roles with the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

As the Director of Member Relations at the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), Jude leads membership engagement, growth, and strategic partnerships, supporting CCA’s mission to strengthen U.S.–Africa business relations.

He is also an educator and published writer whose workexplores African governance, conflict dynamics, and policy innovation. Jude holds a Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore(School of Public and International Affairs), an LL.M. in International andComparative Law from The George Washington University, a Master of AdvancedStudies in Peace and Conflict Transformation from the University of Basel(Switzerland), and an LL.B. from the University of Yaoundé (Cameroon), along withadditional graduate training in international affairs. He has taught courses ininternational affairs and public policy at the University of Baltimore, Maryland,and San Diego State University, California.

Outside of work, Jude enjoys mentoring emerging leaders, writing and research, and engaging communities through public speaking andteaching. He is passionate about building connections that advance practical solutions and long-term impact across the African continent.
